@JKinder313 Yes kid,, study history and geography. Draughts happen in the same belt at the same distance of the Equator. North and South. Draughts happen, because there is no intelligent creator. Because there is no god, watching out over us. It is just nature at work. Yes some temporary food shortages can be blamed on wars. This supposedly, loving god told us to " go and multiply " but he never said when to stop.
-
@ndzoko Have you ever noticed that most food and water shortages and famines are the result of a war that could've been prevented or a land that could've been cultivated? Instead, people go to war over greed (money) and land fails to be cultivated because of lack of money and technology. Think about the source and maybe you'll learn something, kid.

@HorseCents - That is not a logical argument. It is based upon your religious belief. You are simply asserting that the hypothesis that the Earth currently has too many people cannot be true because of biblical scripture. The Bible is not science. It is scripture.

This total bullshit about overpopulation. How sick and wrong, not to mention backwards, is a society that thinks that it needs to limit fucking in order to maintain a decent living?
This world literally has dozens of millenium's left worth of oil and natural gas that are concentrated in the earth's core. We can help undo pollutants in the air through geo-engineering and bacteria that eat harmful substances.
Seems to me we are set to go. All you hippies can go ride a donkey for all I care..

@schmetterlink, yes, the old saying that "the Lord helps those who help themselves" is really just liberal propaganda. All you have to do is pray nightly and you don't even need to go to work! Paychecks will miraculously show up in your account. Give it a try.
This video was presumably designed just to make Christians look stupid, witness the awful presentation, the lack of evidence given for assertions ('I'm telling you that...') and the failure to discuss the details of the scientific research on which the overpopulation claims are based. I don't know yet if the overpopulation claims are right or wrong, but this kind of rant is not going to help me make an informed decision.

@whatsmylogin, well, show me a BETTER "rant" then, sir/ma'am.
Facts are facts. I've got plenty to eat and so do my neighbors. If there was overpopulation we'd all be as thin as whippets. Texarkana takes care of its own.

Part 4: My point is that the population cannot exceed the limit, because of limited resources for sustaining life, and therefore invalidates the notion of overpopulation. Think about it. Either the Earth has a limit to the amount of people it can hold or it doesn't. Obviously there is a limit but in either case the word "overpopulation" means nothing. (END)

@summercures2, you are right. And don't listen to those Peak Oil doomsayers who tell us that we've only got this large a population because of fossil fuel energy that's not sustainable.
Only God will know the actual day of limits-overload. Only He can say when rights end and gluttony begins. In my little town of Yellville, there is plenty of land for miles around, and that's all I need to know about the topic.
