Keane - Clear Skies (with official lyrics and radio commentary)

Clear Skies is a song from the new EP, Night Train, released on May 10th.
This is the version played on BBC 6, on 8 March 2010, with comments of Steve Lamacq.

I've now included the real audio transcription, made by me personally, it does work out at the beginning, but later it gets all wrong, I will try to fix this later.

I know a lot of you are waiting for this, we managed to get our hands on a copy of the new 8-track ep from Keane, which is coming. It's not released until May the 10th, although you can pre-order it from the website I believe. But Night Train is the title of the forthcoming Keane ep, it was written, well a lot of it, *noise* Tom's eh, and we've talked to Tom from Keane, whose birthday is today, I think, Tom, happy birthday if you're listening. We talked to Tom on the program last week and a lot of these songs were written while they were touring the world on the Perfect Symmetry tour, and we'll play one today and another track is part of Roundtable on Thursday evening, let's see what you think of this, it is new from Keane and this is Clear Skies.

So, Keane fans, what are we making that way? (?) I tell it to everybody I see! It's new from Keane, who will be t-touring the British forests, a series of days in June, which start of in Thetford Forest in Suffolk on June the 10th, then on through Kent and Gloucestershire, days at Sherwood Pines Forest in Nottinghamshire, in June as well, and then off to North Yorkshire and Staffordshire. This record though, written on the tour, the big world tour which accompanied their last release, the album Perfect Symmetry. A 10-track ep called Night Train, it's out in May, and there's information at Keanemusic.com. It's new from Keane, and it's called Clear Skies!

Well, as every Keane-fan with a recording device is uploading the new song, I thought I'd do that as well. And there it is, complete with comments of Steve Lamacq. He was really talking through the end, which was quite annoying...

Does anyone know why Keane's song, Your Love is being blocked? And how did you manage to not get Clear Skies blocked?

@darkmagekari It is probably being blocked because of copyright restrictions, YouTube has bots that detect songs in video's. I think this video isn't being blocked (in some countries it is btw) because it has the radio commentary in it, and the beginning and end of the song are "covered". To be able to listen to the blocked songs, you could use Spotify (which is free and legal), or buy the album from iTunes or in a music store.

Yeah, I just put those in for fun, mainly because it is so stupid. You'd expect at least something reasonable, not really professional of YouTube =P

I'm a media student and study radio - Lamacq, this is not the way to do it! If you want to speak at the end of the song, fade it down completely. God, the end is SO annoying..

@Xair20desactivado totalmente de acuerdo, creo que Keane se ha aventurado mucho y ha experimentado, no ha caido en el estancamineto de colplay que apesar entre otras bandas que apesar de que suenan bien, no encuentras nada nuevo en su musica es muy monotono, en cambio ellos han buscado experimentar nuevos ritmos, y creo que suenan bastante bien excelente disco, si tienen oportunidad de escucharlo completo no se arrepientiran.
