Ok I need some help. I am building a gaming pc with and for my son. I have accumulated some parts But need a mobo and video card. was thinking P8Z68 Delux and some 560 or something. Can some one cross check all these parts and make sure it will work and recommend a mobo and video card ? COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1
1200 watt cooler master silent pro
western digital 1 tb sata III
16 gb corsair vengeance
i7-2600k
Cooler Master H-70 I would like to keep the video card and mobo around $500

@masterbanks09 The board is fine with your setup, as for the ram make sure to check their P8Z68 DELUXE DRAM QVL just to make sure the ram is supported. As for the power supply you dont need anything that big at all with what you want to setup thats just way overkill, unless you plan to use it later down the road for a much bigger build using 3 way or 4 way sli/cf setups with another board.

Why you don't use the quad channell ??? (4X4GB) ????
oldboy1986it 2 months ago
@oldboy1986it that is a quad channel kit 2133MHz 16GB 4x4GB which is for my new board. as for my old board I use Dual channel 1600MHZ 8GB 2x4GB

I'm still on an amd x2 (2.2)cpu lol.
Patiently waiting for liquid nitrogen coolers and 8 core cpus before upgrading that way I won't have to upgrade for ten years straight.
