http://tomscott.com - Or: what you see when you die.

If you liked this, you may also enjoy two novels that provided inspiration for it: Jim Munroe's Everyone in Silico, where I first found the idea of a corporate-sponsored afterlife; and Rudy Rucker's trippy Postsingular, which introduced me to the horrifying idea of consciousness slums.

This should really scare me....but the nice voice and music is so calming that I'm sort of okay with it -- that's what freaks me out

Fortunately you did, but it appears that those guys were able to get rights to your digital copy, or maybe you selled it to them. Copy is a copy, it actually does not think, but still it is unethical on many levels. Its innovative form of slavery.

its about the future it has been said many a time that in the future human minds or 'souls' will be able to be uploaded to cybernetics or 'computers' which is known as the singularity the earliest possible time for the singularity to possibly happen is from 5 to 100 years. this video is showing what could happen in the future when binding the human 'soul' with machines is possible. my personal view on this being a possibility is that it is terrifying
