  • to answer his question why God doesn't forgive our sins, is because God is a JUST God. Someone needs to pay for the sins or else God isn't a just God. That someone is Jesus. We could pay for our sins, but only through eternity in hell because we could never match up to our sins punishment because we will just keep cursing God in hell. But God is Holy and Just and full of grace that Jesus took that punishment for only some. So it really wasn't a tough question at all.

  • @TruthOverFact From what I know, within secular science evolution is widely accepted. The details may be up for debate but that's probably about it. So to say "there is no debate" is not far from the truth. There is far more debate within religion, especially christianity. Literal vs metaphorical, tongues, infant baptism, faith alone vs "repent of yor sins", a phrase often spouted yet not found in the bible, tithing, KJ only vs all the rest, which manuscripts are the right ones etc........

  • @monster762 No it isn't. But the amount of debate makes one point.... that it's still not as widley accepted as some may make it seem. That was the point that I was trying to make. @OccamKant said:

"There IS no debate within science regarding evolution"

Which I strongly disagree with and Im sure many other people would too...

  • @TruthOverFact Is the amount of debate over evolution a good reason to disregard it?

  • @TruthOverFact Same.

  • @TruthOverFact "If the evidence for evolution is SO overwhelming like you claim then why is there still debate about it within science?"

There IS no debate within science regarding evolution. Evolution is accepted as the model for biological diversity. In fact, there is more support and more acceptance of evolution than any other scientific theory.

  • @CosmicGrounds Sad indeed my friend. I once considered this "doctrine" of evolution when I was younger. I've grown out of that now.

  • @OccamKant "there is a mountain of evidence for anyone who is honest and has not wilfully blinded themselves"

Nooooo. There is a mountain of evidence for anyone who HAS willfully blinded themselves. If the evidence for evolution is SO overwhelming like you claim then why is there still debate about it within science? Is anyone debating the existence of the atom? No. Because it's well proven... Evolution is NOT.

  • @TruthOverFact It's quite sad isn't it? Man has now demoted itself to the level of the beasts of the field to reject God.
