In Loving Remembrance - John Denver - PART 1/4

My tribute to a very dear friend in my heart. **There are several glitches in the movie that I could not fix no matter what I tried, but please don't allow that to ruin the experience of watching it! :-)

It took me several weeks to put this entire thing together. I uploaded it in 4 parts. Enjoy!!!

Actually - he never legally changed his last name - he only used Denver as a stage name. His wife - Annie and his children - always went by Duetschendorf. His second wife - an Australian named Cassandra - prefered to go by Denver - and his only biological child - Jesse Belle - also goes by Denver. That was because she was a singer and married him to gain fame - and still in 2010 she goes by Denver - even though they divorced in the early 1990's!!!!!!!

At 0:47 - that is an 18 string guitar - they do not make them anymore!!

He never changed his name to Denver - he simply went by that name as a stage name. All contracts were in the name of Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr. And before being in "The Mitchell Trio" - he was gaining a reputation as a GREAT guitar player - and a very good voice!!

You have found his spirit - and OH how I miss the songs that were to be!!!
