Khardung la is not for kids, defntly no, ask any soldier to recount their experience of living there day in day out..Chang la is even harsher..There is no snow in Marismik la to make situations worse, though the terrain is steeper..Also as it is off the main road by some distance, marismik la is less visited than its peers...but appreciate the effort nonetheless guys

Amazing stuff dudes..appreciate your effort & courage to haul the unwieldy enfield atop the mighty pass. The sound of wind, breathlessness in the air, stark but pristine beauty of the place, utter loneliness, all take me back to our 15 day trip through leh, zansker, siachen base camp etc undertook in 2007 June-July...would love to visit marismik la some time

awesome! but i dont see the fz16 in the video struggling like the bullets? dont tell me it performed better compared to the mighty 350+cc beasts??

@zambaktu666 Maybe the parts where FZ struggled are not in the video :P
FX almost died at Tanglang La itself... But some retuning helped it to reach M'La.
At M'La any bike you bring will struggle, because the elevation is not the only problem there. It is a steep and loose track. If you rev on the slopes, the wheels dig in. Any bike would stall there. So had to push.
Only thing good about FZ was that it was not as hard to push as the bulls :D
