Mind like water. "Mushin" can reflect itself in the body! Perfect example. Everyone finds their own style and concept. This is one of the most inspiring displays of Mushin and fluidity I have seen in my 30+ years in the arts. Yin magnificence. One must mix one's own personal flow with that of the Tao. You don't try to analyze this you become inspired by it!

After another year of practice, I'm of the opinion this is one of the most interesting performances I have seen on youtube. Not only are the moves different, but her skill is quite obvious to me now. I wish I had a name to place to her, or her form. I am forced to wonder if this is another style other than Yang family tai chi?

@TheGPYWEM well i think Tai Chi is what water bending was based off of they actually stated what each form of bending represented at some point

@vandalaylatex6969 This is just the forms. To learn to defend yourself, you'd have to study the applications of each form, do drills, conditioning, sparring, etc, like any other martial art.

See my video Yang 48 with new interpretation. I try not to use too much competition style. Welcome your comment. Just need to search You Tube for "Jeff Tseng 2011"

This is a beautiful way of living, in peace with yourself and keeping your body fit.

@Pastelgizmo Yes. It looks so painful!

Why all the videos have women doing tai chi ? Maybe balls get in the way for man..!
brilliantly done so elegantly, but is it the competition form? As i fear it may be and not the martial form. Her knees go way past her toes in stances which goes against the martial rule of stabilitiy. i could be wrong but from my research it seems "competition" tai chi, looks more 'arty' whilst losing some of its fundamental martial aspects. either way both strengthen the body so well done to her!
