New Orleans pump station six is the largest in the world and is the last in
a series of levies and canals set up to protect the city. It lies just two
miles away from the big 17th Street Canal levy failure that occurred during
Hurricane Katrina. This video takes you inside pump station number six to
see how it operates and how they will weather Hurricane Gustav.
