Pit Bull Puppy

4 year old (Mach 10) Male Pitbull Terrier and an 8 week old (Jhinkah) female Pitbull puppy. Roughhousing. Being intelligent, athletic dogs, American Pit Bull Terriers excel in many dog sports, including weight pulling, dog agility, flyball, lure coursing and advanced obedience competition. Some pit bulls have been known to do well in schutzhund as well. Out of the 25 dogs who have earned UKC "superdog" status (by gaining championship titles in conformation, obedience, agility, and weightpull), fourteen have been pit bulls.

The American Pit Bull Terrier is a working dog and is suitable for a wide range of working disciplines due to their intelligence, high energy and endurance. In the United States they have been used as search and rescue dogs that save lives police dogs performing narcotics and explosives detection, Border Patrol dogs, hearing dogs to provide services to the deaf as well as general service dogs

Apbt are ecxatly the same just that the ukc calls them apbt and the akc calls them amstaffs unless there the original breed from Ireland called staffordshire bull terriers Wich are totally different

A Pit Bull is not for the faint at heart. It takes a strong willed, knowledgable person to own a dog like this. You need alot of time to devote to this dog and will have to excercise it regularly. They do best if you walk it for at least 45 min a day + extra free time to play on their own. U do realize that this dog was bred for pit fighting for many generations and will need a strong minded leader to curb any dog on dog aggression. I reccomend thinking long and hard about this decision.
