Can't stand Paul Weller, but I have really been into Peter Beckett. He's used to be with Player and he's English, but the band is basically American. He's a great composer and has written songs for other people. There are many other singers that are way better than Paul Weller. I don't get what the fascination is. I think people need to get their ears tuned.
