the chasers should be taken off the air for that skit. god, its only two weeks and if that makes people feel better, good. honestly, the skit wasnt funny and went too far. 'why make an effort for kids who are going to die anyway..' too far.

BTW no one cares about your opinion on this subject. your not an authority on the Chasers. im not precious about this stuff, but i do think making a joke about dying kids is pretty low. the joke was probably meant to be taken differently, but it didnt work..

@Seamalicous of course i get the concept of political satire and daring comedy. that doesnt mean the chasers have the right to do whatever they damn well want. when they dressed up like Osama bin laden and got past apec security, that had a certain irony and humour. you saying that people are wrong to be upset about the cancer skit is ignorant. people who have had a kid dying of cancer will never see the funny side of the situation. my opinion is better than yours because i am unbiased.

These things happen, you're acting like they waltzed into an actual hospital and did this with kids that actually had cancer and had no idea what was going on.. they didn't, actors in a skit. Like I said, it was a bad joke, but if you're going to push boundaries sometimes you'll screw up, my point was that there was an angle from where this joke could work, they missed it

Okay pretty much; the chaser is fucking gold, they were making a harmless joke and people just need to pull the stick out of their ass and laugh. Okay, the chaser obviously does not mean anything they said in a realistic way. And, yes, they did go a little too far, but come on..
