@kickbaktube strong nuclear force is stronger then electromagnetic on smaller distances...that's why we don't have atom of a size of a planet or smth like that. cuz after some size it splits on smaller atoms.

do the number of protons above each element mean that the atom has one proton? Also, can one hydrogen atopm be called hydrogen or do you need a lot of those atoms.
