Making your own Biodiesel fuel is dangerous and involves the use of toxic chemicals. Mistakes can result in fire, loss of property and loss of life. The most serious risks involved in making your own fuel are explained in this video.
Small amounts of methanol are produced by the metabolism of food and are generally harmless, being metabolized quickly and completely. lye yes got it right.
cell phones dont make a spark so no blowups there. and stop fear-mongering man
just wanted to add cutting barrels is the number one reason construction workers die. all barrels should be consider dangerous, as companys sometimes don't use new barrels they recyle them the way they are formed they can trap fuel in the lip of the barrel. so even if you have a barrel that is labled it might have had something else in it. or other have used the barrel for waste ect. just to let everyone know that working on a barell becuase it is cheap might kill you. seek a profestional
Thanks for putting this up. There are those who are very dead set against home brewing but don't understand that there are set safety procedures that keep this a safe and productive hobby.
