  • The phrasing didn't feel right. I think it was because of the tempo. I had to practice that excerpt for hours before having to audition for the principal seat of Carnegie Hall's National festival Orchestra. All those hours paid off =). A couple hours before this performance I changed the slured bowing to a new bowing. Try this bowing- Up on the F#, down on the next F#, and then Up-down-up-down the rest of the way. Works great. Let me know if it works. Great Playig-
