@EliteSwabby I'd say when cyngus came out in summer of 2009. At that time they also lowered the amount of exp you needed to lvl as well. After that, that's when maple went downhill. New classes were coming out like every 3 or 4 frickin months, it was crazy. Then Big Bang came and that is what delivered the final blow.

@VinceBroo Easier IS worse. You basically said it yourself: Making MS easier takes away the challenge, if there's no challenge there's no meaning in lvling, if there's no meaning in lvling there's no satisfaction.
Ofcourse, there were other things that made MS fun to play. There were people socialising, you could explore stuff. But what made maple really fun to me, was reaching a new lvl.

@EliteSwabby I don't find Maple got WORSE, just easier. I mean, getting to level 30 used to take me and my friend a month, now I can get to atleast 120 in a week, without "no-lifing" Lols. Maple is still fun to me, damage whore or not, lols. But yeah, I mean, I DO prefer old Maple more than New Maple because it was so much more of a challenge.

Back in 2005/2006, Maple Story was the greatest game I had ever played.
Thank you, Dray. Your videos helped me and my friends fight hard to reach the high levels. Besides, you made me discover Breaking Benjamin, which is still my favourite band of all time, to date. Thank you.
It may look like this game is getting better all the time, with all new updates, classes and "improvements", but I fear, the true age of Maple Story is over.
