Teejay - Carol of the Bells

Over the years, Juli and I have developed a running gag for this Carol: "Oh, God! The Bells!" In a way, this tune signifies the oncoming Christmas Season -- and in another, it's an insistent counterpoint to the relentless commercialism, stress, and tension of the holidays.

So why not have fun with it? Why not acknowledge that - however commercial Christmas may be from one viewpoint, the season remains fundamentally about people being nice, showing love to each other, and [hopefully] giving praise to their God for all of the blessings they have?

Some may disagree with my interpretation of "the meaning of Christmas", and I'll acknowledge their viewpoint... but that's what motivates me. Lay it back, chill out, and get your groove on.

So... with the aid of my best friend in the entire world -- Mike Masquith doing the guitar solo, plus the Ohio Players, Rufus, Bowie, etc. etc... we bring you the Bells.
