Big wave hits cabin window

On Fred. Olsen cruise ship Balmoral in Bay of Biscay, huge waves pounded the ship. This wave broke over our cabin window nearly 30' above the normal waterline.
The biggest wave was over 50' high, according to an officer on the ship.
We sailed from Dover UK on 17 Jan 09 and returned 27th, having failed to make our destinations - Tangiers and Lisbon

All you people that are making comments on the "fantastic" statement your morons if you took 2 seconds and actually listened to the video she was commenting on the fact that her male companion was able to catch the wave on video. @wnorth6163 Thank you. The so-called 'dildo' is actually 'Gelda' - a character in the tv programme which was running in the background. I think the lady on the tv was saying 'Go to bed, Gelda'. My husband was waiting to record another giant wave, and I was reading. That's all. Glad it's aroused so much interest, though. The waves reaching that height were certainly pretty spectacular.
