Nazia Hassan is a legend. She may have been the first to have sang it, not sure if she wrote it, or even fully produced it, i'm pretty sure it was with Biddhu.
In anycase ANAMIKA does a damn good job of a very good modern version.
Hats off to both singers. For the other tight wounded, lighten up and enjoy the song
