That seems to be the case for most people, but nowadays it's hard to know if you're even really getting the full-on Suda 51 experience. He's the "Creative Director" for this game (the role he also had on the lackluster Diabolical Pitch), which could make this one the "Quentin Tarantino PRESENTS Hostel" of Suda 51 games.

Eh, as someone who enjoy's Suda's stuff, I find his games are generally carried by their overall atmosphere and characters. For example, NMH combat isn't top notch, but it's serviceable enough to not make you want to stop playing the game (well it was for me anyway). I except it'll be the same here.
