Nichrome Igniter for Finale

When you use the consumer igniters with your firing system remember to place the igniter as close to the artillery shell as you can. If you do this on all the artillery shells you can better synchronize a multiple firing. Here I shoot 12 artillery shells at the same time. If it was raining I could have loaded all the mortars and covered them with aluminum to protect them from the rain and still shoot the display.
Always buy the igniters with the longer wire, it makes this loading much easier. Notice the mortars were screwed down and still managed to jump around at the end of the video.

Hey Dave, if you place the igniters inside the mortar tube won't it destroy the igniters? or will it shoot out of the tube along with the shell.... i don't want to place the igniters in the tube if they will break. Thanks! I love your videos!
