It's really hard to explain. The clips cut freely between the Yamato 2 TV series (the "Comet Empire" in the US), the shots of Yamato entering the tunnel from the fourth movie "Be Forever Yamato," then back to Saito's death setting explosives in Yamato 2, then forward to the destruction of the Yamato from the fifth movie by Captain Okita/Avatar, with reaction shots of the explosion taken from Yamato 2 again, to the death of Venture from Final Yamato.. a strange mashup from Nadia.
