he became addict to pain killers after being stabbed by a patient. They made him go to rehab not quit.

Such a great video Dr. Carter is my fav. character and Lucy was one too. I feel like her life got cut too short on the show. I wish they would have kept her alive. I totally cried while watching this...it was one of the saddest episodes. =[

everytime I either see clips or the actual episode, I feel Carter getting stabbed each time. The acting is so good.

Oh my gosh, this episode was crazy!!!! It was so sad. =( It was definitely hard to watch, so realistic. They are Amazing Actors.

I used to watch ER way, way back. Until Luck Knight was killed off. To me, the show ER died with her. To think that ER lasted so long without her is baffling to me. It was so sad. I can not watch any ER type of shows like Grey's Anatomy.
