The Reindeer Section are a supergroup - so it's no wonder that they have great appeal. Gary Lightbody wrote the lyrics to both albums, but at a particular point in his life (between record labels) and with a view to making an album with a lot of talented collaborators. It worked!

You should just check out both albums. They are equally most wonderful masterpieces in my opinion!! Some of the best lyrics ever written lie within The Reindeer Section with such a beautiful all round sound too :)
I've seen "Son Of Evil Reindeer" around in many music stores and is usually in fairly constant stock online, start there. it's also the album which "You Are My Joy" is on.

When I ordered their CD's 6 years ago from Amazon, it took several years for the first disc "Y'All Get Scared Now, Ya Hear!" to arrive because I kept getting notices from Amazon that they were not stocking it, but if I would like to hold till they do, I can. Soo good luck getting the first disc :)

But they haven't been active since 2002, soo don't get too into them, they are as good as done
