Rhythm is EVERYWHERE in this performance. That's the only reason I don't like it. You waited to long to turn the page in the second variation and therefore you and the pianist where off from each other. You also rushed in the 7th variation. However you have absolutely gorgeous tone! I LOVE it! Work on your rhythm issues and you will be an absolute gorgeous player!
I just cant get over your tone... thick and beautiful!

@Flutist14 great to know :) where are you studying?

@agcolonialman, thank you for your suggestion, and I really apreciate your help. However, I've overcome my tone problems, and now I can play whatever I want, whenever I want! (: Yes, I have the book and it is an amazing treasure for any flutist. Thank you so much, anyway :D

@Flutist14, I've found that if you practice long tones, especially focusing on the lower, the practicing of the Syrinx will become much easier (just like any other piece)! The technical ability can be played by anyone, but if the tone isn't there, who wants it?? Long tones = key. But only if you apply the practise to your normal playing. Have you tried Trevor Wye tone book?

Your tone reminds me of Sharon Bezaly. I'm so jealous and so in love with Sharon Bezaly!

Beautifully played.
I wish one day I can play like you. I am 4 years younger than you are but I have to work very much. Especially now that I'm playing Syrinx. It seems easy but it's not. The final note is the most difficult thing from the piece.
Nice job.
Your tone is to die for, you are going to be the next Emmanuel Pahud! Keep up the great work handsome!
