Nassfeld, Pressegger See (Hermagor, Kärnten)

Anfang Jänner 2009: Impressionen von zwei Schitagen in der Skiarena Nassfeld (Hermagor, karnische Region). Super Schnee, jede Menge Pisten, und der "Millenium Express" bringt dich direkt dorthin.

Danach: Der zugefrorene Pressegger See, der für Eisläufer regelmäßig präpariert wird, liegt an der Route des kostenlosen Skibusses von und nach Tröpolach, der Talstation am Nassfeld.

January 2009: Some impressions of the skiing ressort "Nassfeld" (Hermagor, Carinthia, Austria). Afterwards we went for a walk on the nearby frozen Lake Pressegger See which is being regulary prepared for skaters.

Nachdem ich mit der Musik keine Urheberrechte verletzten wollte, hab´ ich Apples GarageBand bemüht und einen ersten Versuch gestartet, etwas halbwegs Passendes zusammen zu stückeln. Vielleicht ist das musikalische Thema nicht zu 100% passend... Das nächste Mal dann. ;-)

We are going to nassfeld, as well, this february. Any impressions? Do they have easy slopes for beginners? I could not figure this out from the map! If you can advice anything, please do so! :)

Hi there!

Actually there are only few of the "blue" ones, but there´s a nice beginners area at the middle station of the cable car "Millenium Express" (2nd stop of 3 from Tröpolach). Also there are some "blue" slopes on the Gartnerkofel side, right beside the half pipe for snow boarders - unfortunatly you only get there via normal "red" slopes. Still there´s enough to do for beginners. ;-)

yes, they have easy slopes as well... basically they have slopes for all abilities. Blue ones are easy ;)... I basically grew up on this mountain, so if you have any questions feel free to write me a message.
