@Darthmilzz No worries man, some people like it others hate it, this is part and parcel for normal swirls too, I hate some I do then I look again and like them some I end up loving, and the reverse happens also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder thank god or we would all be after the same women, that would not be good as I am but ugly LOL

Looks fantastic, but I wish that people would stop trying to be Vai. The Monkey-grip is useless, it's just a Vai-thing. Be yourself and stop running after other players. Yes, Vai is a fantastic player, but how is that stopping you from being you?

Cheers, the monkey grip is actually pretty good when you want to hold your guitar securely with one hand, obviously not when your playing. lol

@MistahhB Some of us who already have Vai guitars wanto to have them re-swirled either because the original swirl wasn't that great, or because they've gotten "ding-ed" or scratched over time, or because we have a non-swirled Jem that we wish was swirled. I own 3 Jems, one that is swirled, ...and two that will be eventually. ;-)

saying any addition or change to a guitar is a "VAI" thing would be akin to saying that any electric guitar with a single cut away is a "Les Paul thing." These instruments are absolutely insanely beautiful.
