The bible shows numerous people he gave his spirit to including a promise to us if we ask... Joseph Gen 41:37, Samson Jud 13:24, David 1 Sam 16:13, John the Baptist Luke 1:14 and finally US LUKE 11:11 Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

Jesus said "that you may have LIFE, and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY"
Any doctrine that takes the advantage away from the saint of God should be questioned that it is from God.
Christ has invested HIS LIFE in order that we may have life (know the Father) and the Holy Spirit is the one chosen to "open up" the things that are freely our in Christ. connect the dots!
