Wow, this bring back memory, i use to tune into Radio 1 every sunday to get my weekly fixture of the music chart rundown, Dont forget this was in the days before the internet and the only way of knowing what was going on top in the charts, was to tune into Bruno Brookes on Radio 1. I stop listening to Radio 1 when it was turn into a youth station in the mid 90's.. Only ever tune into commerical Radio now...

From a time when the uk had genuine christmas number ones with christmassy themes and not simon cowell produced cynical ways of making loads of dosh out of dumb teeny-boppers on the week of the biggest selling chart of the year.
