Proof of God? Not so much...

The Atheist Experience #695, 2/6/2011. Mark from Austin Stone Community Church has a lot of experience in theology and the academic side of Christianity. He calls in to present his proof for the existence of god and then attempts to tie his proof to the Bible. He doesn't make a very convincing argument.

How can anyone deny the existence of Bigfoot when he was fighting for Strikeforce until recently? People these days...

@DAViDThEMaCK Actually, there are societies which are both current and successful that are atheistic, such as Japan. Sweden is also, I think, either atheistic or the vast majority of the county are atheists.

500 years ago the majority said the world is flat.

100 years ago the majority of scientists said evolutions isn't real (now over 90% of scientists agree, including 100% of all biochemists and anyone who works with chemicals or fossils) and of course 100% of all astronomers and scientists based on things in space believe the earth is about 4.8billion years old and the universe is about 14 billion years old.

Is it just me or does this seem odd? He complains about Jeff being "wild", tells them how worried he is about the youth, basically calls them demagogues and tries to infringe their freedom of speech right of the bat. This is not far from an explicit threat.
