I passed the HESI!

May 5, 2010. the HESI is the nursing exit exam we have to take in order to graduate. and I PASSED! idk how i jumped from a 664 to a 900. all i know is i did it with God's help and with people praying for me. now i just have to take the NCLEX! and i'll be a registered nurse! YAY!! i'm so happy =)

@countrygirl9582002 i wouldn't worry too much about it. i honestly studied for the entrance exam for like 3 hours. that's it. if you've been doing good in like a&p and your other pre-reqs, you'll be fine. the study guide didn't really tell me more than what i learned from my pre-reqs. but it's good for review.

@mari5496 OH MAN. you're in for a ride of your life. the HESI exam is the exit exam for the nursing program. i don't know if you're required to pass it at other colleges, but at my school, you have to pass in order to graduate. my best advice to you is study study study and go over nursing questions and rationales. oh and don't forget to read your textbooks =)

I failed twice. Passed the Med-Surg first try with a 977. Needed an 850 to pass. Failed Exit HESI with a 876 and then 849 and needed a 900 to pass. Now I'm mad more than sad.

Where I live, we have to take and pass the HESI to even be considered for the RN program. I'm taking it tomorrow morning. Hope I do well cause they only accept the 50 highest scorers into the RN classes each fall and spring semesters. And no one will know if they are accepted until May!
