kinda late, but to clear up any confusion.

It was a kyokushin tournament

but my primary style at the time was shorin ryu.

that's why I tagged it shorin ryu.

I doubt he's a black belt tbh...Maybe if he took lessons from one of those places that pushes you through the belts in like a year or something. He honestly doesn't seem that skilled to me...

im 7th dan black belt in taekwondo

i went to a tournament like 2 weeks ago. shorin ryu and taekwondowas thereme and my fellow classmates were the only chinese kung fu there. we just watched it but we didnt like it no one was hitting in the face and they didnt use any gloves just fist and they had these weird helmets with huge plastic bubbles. and they were biased when another stlye like this kenpo dude went they made him lose points but he didnt do anything wrong. if we went we would of been disqualified for hitting to hard
