It's been a while and I've been working on this intermittently.
I've been able to force them for a while but only now can I do them with control.

  • Hi! I'm also trying that but I don't know exactly what to focus on. Do you need split? Or back flexibility? Or just strenght?

  • @Banzas Being able to sit in a straddle and put your stomach on the floor is pretty much essential for doing it on the floor. That's the only fleibility thing.

    2 drills that work the skill easily and efficiently

    1: On pbars or paralletts practice L-sit to straddle press with as much swing as you need. Don't arch, don't bend arms. Shoot for 4-6 reps.

    2:Whenever you come down from a press or handstand do it AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE.

  • getting stronger, impressed. Out of curiosity are having your hands close together on purpose. You might get more reps of you widen the grip and work your middle splitz. keep going i want to see a straddle planche next
