Strasburg Railroad: Santa's Paradise Express 12/03/11

HD 1080p: On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Eastern Railfan Productions made a trip to the Strasburg Railroad to film the Santa's Paradise Express trains. The railroad made the decision to run two trains for the weekends in December, and had 90 and 89 doing the honors. The weather was hovering at around 50 degrees with sunny, blue skies, which was a great background for 90 and 89 as they steamed along the line. @srr7312&Strasburg1991 its a rumor that the company is making plans to work on 972 to repair it to UNOPERABLE CONDITION by 2015 and put into the museum.

@PRR460 Ah ok, didn't know that. I've seen that same boiler on wheels sit outside the shops since I first went to Strasburg, so it's awesome that they are finally deciding to do something with it (provided that the rumor is in fact true, of course).
