What is The Atheist Experience?
The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

"If everyone were gay, our species would eventually die out."
1) Everyone ISN'T gay, and we will probably never have an entirely gay population.
2) Artificial insemination
3) If by some highly unlikely chance the next several generations were born female, and therefore, could not reproduce and our species died out, would that make being female immoral?

@Woodland312 I've already conceded this point, but it's very unlikely that the situation will ever arise.

@Squagnut
We would not neccesarily die out, as it's currently possible to reproduce without sexual intercourse as one can fertilize eggs without direct sex. Yes, it would cost a lot of time and money, but that is not really the point. The point would be that it would be possible without heterosexual relationships.

@charlotteisntreal Fair point, but it's academic.

@Squagnut Its not even true that if everybody were gay then humans would die out. Gay people aren't infertile.

The final point Russell made is worth examination. While it's true that if everybody were gay then humans would die out, it's not like that's a real issue, because not everybody is gay, nor (afaics) do gay people want everybody to be gay - they just want to be accepted. Darwinian evolution is a successful scientific theory, it's not a doctrine that dictates everybody's life choices. The theory of evolution might *displace* some religious ideas, but it does not *replace* them.
