it was program mukesh lata & ushamangeshkar live song was uplam chapalam, bade armano se rakkha hai balam teri kasam, yeh rat yeh chandani fir kaha what is the name of this program its dvd available or not?

They are four sisters... Lata, Asha, Usha & Meena... And one brother Hridaynath... Everyone of them related with music... And Lata Ji is influence to the youngers... So if anybody calls Lata a barrier to the youngers that's a slap to her...

@tupsi4peter Lata is Lata... Asha became famous when Lata became more more selective... Even Geeta Dutt was better than Asha... She always pretend to be the best singer and sang so many cheap songs to get fame... But now a days her voice has gained a very good tone...

The queens of Indian Film songs. Their voices still sound good. No one could ever replace Lata or her sister. I wonder sometimes what happened to this type of music along with the songs of Mukesh and Mohamed. Now this disco nonsense trying to imitate Hollywood is really boring.

Thanks T& J ji for sharing. Usha ji sings very well but see the entry of Lata ji! So sweet,melodious, nectar dripping ,soulful voice. So many times i feel like singing but with whom? I think i just go ahead and sing both sister's lines myself.Right friend ?With respect. Sarla.
