A practitioner of karate against another of drunken fists. The latter seems to be heavily reliant on a few typical attacks and stances, rigid and not following the 'motto' of being unpredictable in his particular 'fighting style'. Perhaps not the best representative of what potential drunken fists hold in a fight. He ends up with what appears to be a bloodied nose in the end, you can see him wiping it during the replay. Particularly funny is the reaction from his Japanese audience throughout the demonstration!

  • yes your right karate was originally called china hand instead of empty hand because it came to Okinawa(not japan) and modified. also what you said is totally wrong. karate is a life long pursuit that can never truly be mastered just like almost every other martial arts. martial arts. i respect every style of martial arts kung fu for instance (which is a very broad group of martial arts) has some very effective styles like wing chun and jeet kune do. this however is pretty to look at but is bs.

  • That... is some sad Drunken Boxing skills. He was basically acting the part of a human punching bag for all the offense and defense he mounted.

  • What the hell is this this black dress boy knows nothing about kung fu i think the karate guy had set up this video to show that he is tough but actually you can never defeat a zui chuan boxer with karate ....

  • i like how one is black belt and the other is red

  • Clearly this guy does not know drunken boxing

  • Grab that leg and twist!

  • its about the art not the fighter...... it is to c how good u can use the techniques

  • The drunken stye is a series of exercises to train the body and mind to relax in combination with a proper fighting martial art. Its never meant to be used in a real fight as a martial art. It got popular by Chan's film, then so did Batman jumping of roofs! Its one of those Wushu trash glorified to rip folks off. Imagine doing drunken master style in a bar or a confined space. And I know there are folks out there still being ripped off going to defend it, but I'm giving you the facts.

  • @MartialArtsCN when the Chinese first came to America teaching Kung Fu inthe 70's they taught bullshit.. they may have knew the real thing, but didnt want to teach whites and especially African Americans. so they taught Wushu or some made up crap. so they went to the tournaments and got there butts kick by the Karate practioners. i am a kung fu student for 30 yrs.. the real stuff works . i was one of the lucky ones. the Chinese played on our ingnorance , but now were better.

  • This dude sucks at drunken fist. He didnt look like he was relaxing his muscles.
