The Lakota ARE a part of the Sioux nation, as are 8 other tribes. I don't know ALL there is to know about the Sioux Nation, but I know there are dances out there that each tribe might affiliate with one name and then another person might not call it the same, makes no difference, we are all relations. Aho! Mitakuye Oyasin.

Wow when humans actually gave reverence to mother earth for giving us all the wonderful things..

Even if it was an Earth dance .. It was creepy.

I don't even see any shirts. this is no ghost dance.
Unfortunately this isn't a ghost dance at all. It is a exhibition of the "LAKOTA" not sioux. This dance is a traditional earth dance with each item they wore having a significant meaning to their surroundings.
Thank you,

To sum it up the Ghost Dance was a dance performed to make the White man disappear and the Indians world would return to the way it used to be, filled with an abundance of buffalo and wildlife, prior to the Europeans arriving. The dance scared the hell out of the Whiteman so, it was forbidden..
