Safety, our fundamental aim

The dock levellers, designed and produced by Inkema Sistemas, fully comply with the Safety European Norms: Quality, functionality and safety are periodically evaluated throughout testing in house trials and real trials in loading bays.

As an example we attach a video, showing our last loading test under extreme conditions, where two basic principles are demonstrated in case the truck leaves during loading process with the maximum load (6000 kg) not centred on top of the leveller. This is the worst possible scenario and the result is that it always blocks and stops from falling, avoiding accidents. The structure of the leveller does not suffer structural damages. This test has been done with a leveller out of the pit which also makes the test more demanding because in a loading bay, the pit also gives structural stiffness which we do not have in this case. The test has been a success.
