in response to the douche below me, who would you rather have had perform, lil wayne? please the superbowl is an iconic event, the rolling stones, tom petty, and paul mccartney are iconic artists, its rational and makes for the best most appealing show

@rwright07 the nfl dropped the ball when they got the Who to do it. The Who are indeed living ledgends but I was worried that some of their body parts might start falling off.

No, Tom isn't the best singer... But he's still selling out shows and got asked to do the Superbowl.. So he's doing something right. And Tom Petty was the only reason I tuned in to the SB anyway. When he was done, I turned the channel back.
