Bruce Springsteen joins JT Bowen and The Sensational Soul Cruisers for a second song: "Savin' Up" at The Wonder Bar tribute to Clarence Clemons in Asbury Park, NJ on July 17, 2011.
The Sensational Soul Cruisers are: Screamin' Steve Barlotta-Tenor Saxophone; Stan Tartas-Bass Guitar; Greg Deppe-Keyboards; Lee Thanos-Drums; Steve Hyde-Trumpet; Joe Nappy-Guitar & Vocals; Will Williams-Vocals; Smokey Noble-Vocals; Stephon Jones-Vocals; Alan Smith-Vocals; Pete Maurer-Trombone; Joey Stann-Baritone Saxophone.
This song is special to me because, at my request through proper channels, Bruce recorded it as a duet with John Luraschi only months before John passed away.
I wouldn't mind bring my sax along and playing a gig with these guys. :-)
