Wow, I knew it was evil to abuse children. I knew evil had been done throughout history in the name of Jesus, but I never realised that upper-class English Protestantism had finally identified who to blame, and how to overcome it. I found Stephen Fry endearing until now. My atheistic leanings are now even more confused. Christened Catholic, perhaps I should now try Protestantism before I damn my soul! Don't want to see the other arguments. Stephen Fry is one of a room full of spiteful bigots.

...And before you say he is evident in all living and how much he loves us, what about all of the children starving to death around the world, if god was real, and so great, would he not have supplied all of his 'beloved' children with drinking water, little wells all around the world, at least enough food and water to sustain their young lives instead of having them die a painful death? Open your eyes people, We have evolved to make the best use of what is given to us.

I don't mean to offend but i dislike any form of religion. Those who say religion gives you strength, that extra bit of power in your time of need... is living your life by a code, a set of rules with massively out dated guide lines of modern living a form of strength, a form of power? Surely only you can decide and govern how your life turns out, it is your life after all, not an almighty spirits. Evolution is scientifically proven, there is evidence. Where is the evidence of god?

Fry would have us believe for example 'a certain clergyman, one out of 900 million catholic men women and children who make up the catholic church, once said something i may not agree with = all catholicism is evil.'

This is like me saying because a jewish shopkeeper once shortchanged me, all jews are evil.

When this unfunny gameshow host stops talking this evil, bigoted drivel and follows your sound advice by giving a coherent argument let us know.
