Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus, Cacatuidae) often visit our coastal garden. It is a privilege to be able to see these exceptionally large cockatoos and we hope that conditions will always be favorable for their survival despite increasing urbanization. This is a pair with a noisy youngster. Thy are feeding on Banksia heads. Note that they are left handed.
