No, it means this: the composer made an intentional nod toward Michael Jackson, Billie Jean and perhaps the time period when it was composed. The question is why? Is there something in the game relating to them? I haven't played it

I'm pretty sure it was the composer's intention. Sometimes they like to pay small tributes in their own compositions.
