It happens all over the world and it stops when Johns stop giving their business to brothels and start speaking up, even anonymously, when they see something wrong. God bless "Chantha," her story has made a difference and she won't be forgotten.

It happens all over the world. Poor girls from small towns in eastern Europe are tricked into thinking they can get jobs in the UK or US, and men pay for them to go, only for them to be beaten and locked up and raped by customers every day. These men threaten to kill their family back home should the women try to escape, and they sit back and make a profit while these women get raped daily and die from disease.

Yes poverty and lack of education do play a factor in this BUT institutionalized sexism play a big factor in this problem as well.

Poverty, lack of education and institutionalized sexism fuels this problem. And its not just in cambodia its also in africa to india as well. End sexism in these countries

She died about 6 months following this filming. But she did not die alone (her fear). She was surrounded by people who cared for her.

Is there anything being done to make sure people are present at her funeral?

She died (from AIDS) approximately 6 months after this filming. And yes, she did have some caring people with her at her death/funeral. Her prayers were answered.

Yeah, but what can you do.

There are many great organizations who are helping make a difference. Contact them and ask how you can help -- there is always a way you can help.
