  • I tried playing Kiwi course on my machine and it just keep going to the prompts start up page...any idea why? Only tried one other course which seemed to be working fine.

  • @mypalrocco sounds like a bad hard drive. they are cheap on ebay

  • Iv got a chance to buy a golden tee 97 cab similar to this one. I recently sold my other mame cabinet and am looking to make another one. how do you think this would work for other games? is the monitor too slanted in your opinion ect ect??

  • should be fine, the monitor is a bit slanted but should be fine

  • personally i only like the midway setup since it's the way it was from the factory. but to each his own

  • very nice. Thats a similar monitor to the one I have in my mame. The scan lines are closer together and much more crisp, don't you think? Golden tee is addicting NICE JOB

  • thanks, yes the monitor looks amazing so much brighter and clearer than the 25" wells gardners, however thoss games look awesome too. I like golden tee and it's very addicting & my 2nd favorite game, but MK is my alltime favorite !

  • I just bought GT 2005, and it is the Canadian Version? I didnt know that there was a canadian version specifically....

Wondering how i can upgrade to have all courses??? Can someone help me out here...

  • @mypalrocco Thanks for your input. I just got the machine so I haven't had an opportunity to try any of the other courses but it did seem to work fine on the one that wasn't Kiwi. Thought maybe it had to do with the act that the machine had been searching for a phone line as indicated in the right corner of the screen. Since you built your machine you probably don't have an issue about phone line, eh?

  • could you see yourself playing mortal kombat comfortably on that machine or would you just hold out for a midway cab. its a good deal at 400 though. think I could sell it for more.
