Is there a specific book that you used to learn caro-kann? or did you just learn as you played other people?

White's knight sac was just plain wrong. I do not know what he or she way trying to accomplish. Drops a pawn and worsens white's position. I do not even see any lines where black can stumble. I am A player myself and I can say for certain I would never entertain such a line. When I am playing a much higher rated player, I never try and beat myself. I play my ordinary game. I like to play for complications but not at the cost of ruining my position.

I'd like to note that the pawn structure looks like a ruy lopez reverse, and the knight maneuver you do is the same kind of thing you would do in that pawn structure with the colors reversed.
