After Israel recently announced 1,600 further settlements in the disputed area of East Jerusalem a rift has grown with the U.S. And with a strong Jewish lobby on American soil the issue has become just as divisive on the domestic stage. Support Ron Paul. He will not tell Israel what to do, but he will not pay for it either. Ron Paul wishes Israel well, but recognizes NO duty to defend Israel with American lives or dollars. @ricksand2 Your information is completely false. Not only does Israel get 33% of all foreign aid that the U.S. gives anually, Israel is the only nation allowed to use this aid towards weapons. Israelis per capita have received more aid from us than any other nation. Only in recent years, Iraq has recieved more aid than Israel . Check your facts.

@vladior1 I feel no obligation to defend Israel at all, any more than I feel any obligation to defend the homeland of MY ancestors. Try to find Konigsberg on the map. You can't. It is occupied by an alien race, the Russians. Guess what? I don't care! It is not my problem. Israel is not my problem. If people want to contribute their OWN money to Israel, or go fight for Israel, fine.
