You might be right. Not least because the Matrix carries a - to most people - more attractive brand.

So we want eq,s, better pres, we want more aux's,and more busses, and we don't want it to be a giant mouse. Huh. So it sounds like what we want is... is...a....CONSOLE! Wow, what a concept! A traditional analog mixing console! And you want to get all that for $10K? Jeez, I want a 16 oz rib-eye steak for $2.50. FYI, Audient has the ASP8024 full 24-buss analog console (w/ great sounding pres and EQs on every channel), now with dual-layer DAW control, starting at $32000. What do you think?

Isn't the SSL Matrix more the twice the price of the Zen? I like the concept but the price for both is too rich for my project studio blood.

Aside from the price my problem is not enough aux sends, not enough buss outs, and no eq.

I saw this at MusikMesse...too expensive comparing to some of the new product coming out. This will need to be cut more than half in price if they want to survive in this price range. It's aimed at project studio and no one is going to spend that much money. SSL Matrix will make this hard to sell.
