This is disgusting, and I am fulling willing, as a person who relies 100% on public transportation to commute, to continue suffering through this as long as this man does not get his way.

This union is putting the ENTIRE city in the line of fire, and that is not cute. To put hundreds of thousands of peoples jobs, exams, and futures in jeopardy, just so OC workers can pick and choose their schedules as they please. Anyone reading this have that luxury? No

Thank you, OC! I cannot begin to thank you for your giving generosity- striking over bullshit reasons when your drivers get paid $17/hour base pay, and I'm stuck walking to university over 10 km away in deep snow and working at a minimum-wage job to support myself. And I'm able bodied. What about all the disabled people, the older people, the really young people, who rely on this service? Fuck you all. I hope someone punches the union guy's fucking head in.

The people who ride the bus are generally the working poor, the elderly etc. They are the people who got hurt by this. Talked to a taxi driver the other day. He told me about all the working poor people who had to take taxis who couldn't afford it. I heard about old ladies walking in minus 30 degree temps to see their doctors etc. That is what I will remember. I will never forget it. As long as I live!

Where's premier McGuinty on this strike. He passes back-to-wor-legislation for Toronto transit workers but is silent on Ottawa. I guess its because McGuinty is from Ottawa and there's a conflict-of-interest here.

When transit service resumes, I urge every Ottawan to climb on board an OC Transpo bus free of charge. When the bus shows up at your stop, get on, grab a seat and ignore the driver.

Union members are living on a cloud, thinking that they have a right to do what they are doing. What they don't have a right to do is make life miserable for us.

So again, when transit resumes, ignore their authority...

Don't worry bus drivers, you'll be paid back in full for your selfish conduct....
